My life has been so crazy lately! I feel like I've hardly have a minute to sit still, hence the lack in blogging lately! A lot of things have kept me busy recently. Two things that are keeping me so busy are the 2 classes that I go to once a week! Every Tuesday and Thursday night I head over to the Salt Lake Community College campus right after work and have class there until 8pm. I also have weekly homework in those classes that I have to work on. Another thing is I was also called as the First Counselor in the Young Women's presidency in our ward! I'm so excited about this calling and I'm really looking forward to working with the young women! The sad part is class activity night is every Tuesday night, when I have class so I haven't been able to go yet. Luckily my class ends the 2nd week in December, so I'll be able to start going once that class ends! On top of all this one of the teacher's on my team at school just had a baby, so even though my class is off-track now, I've been subbing for her class! It's nice to earn some extra money, especially this time of year, but it's not giving me any free-time! Other than all that, it seems like a lot of other things are coming up! But, like I say I'd rather be really busy than bored at home with nothing to do!
I'll be happy to go on a vacation next week and get some time away from my busy life! I'm most excited though to get to spend time with my whole family! Once I come back it'll only be 2 more weeks until my classes are over! Also, it'll only be about 3 and 1/2 weeks until we get to go to St. Louis to spend Christmas with all of Travis's family! There is an end in sight and exciting things coming up to look forward to!

I haven't posted on here in forever! Probably a combination of being busy and not a whole lot going on! The most exciting thing that's happened recently is my family came to Utah for a visit! My Mom, Dad, Emily and Bossy came here for a fun long weekend! They came in on Thursday night and stayed until the following Tuesday. They came to go to my cousin's mission farewell whose leaving to go on his mission to Seattle, Washington. We had a lot of fun while they were here and we love it when family comes to visit :) We got to go out to the Ranch where my dad grew up and spent time with our extended family there!

Travis, Bossy and my dad got to go pheasant hunting with all the men, while my Mom, Emily and I went shopping :) Our favorite. We had a great time going to the Park City Outlets and going shopping few places around Salt Lake! We had a great time while my family was here!
Other than that, Travis and I stay busy with work and school! It seems like we're so busy during the week, there's always something going on! Then on the weekends we unwind by watching college football. We each have our teams to cheer for so we get a double dose of college football every Saturday! Here is a picture of us at the Legends sports bar where we go to watch all the Nebraska football games with the Utahns for Nebraska group. Notice I'm in my Texas Burnt Orange and Travis is in his Nebraska Red :)

We are excited about Thanksgiving! We're going to be going to Texas to spend it with my family! All of my sisters and their families will be there with us! It'll be fun to be together with my whole family. Only one more week until we fly out to Texas! We get to stay there for a week! Then just a few weeks after we get back we're going to be going out to Missouri to spend Christmas with Travis's family. So we have a lot to look forward to, and we'll have a lot more to post about coming up!

Having fun late at night giggling with Em and Bossy!

Our Weekend In Nebraska
Travis and I had a great time in Nebraska this weekend. Travis drove out with Natalie and Mike on Wednesday night, and I flew out there on Friday after half a day of work to meet up with them. We got to see Travis's parents, Travis's brother Brad and his wife Emily, Natalie and Mike and of course our cute niece and nephew Mya and Clay. It was great to spend time with all of them in Travis's home state of Nebraska.
Travis was very excited to get to go to a Nebraska football game. It was a lot fun to go to the game, even though the game didn't turn out so great for Nebraska.

We also had a lot of fun playing with our cute niece and nephew Mya and Clay.

We were also lucky that this weekend, Brad and Emily were celebrating Mya's 1st birthday. It was great to get to be there for that. Emily put together a really cute butterfly themed party that we were so glad to be able to be a part of.

Now, it's back to reality! I have homework for my classes, parent teacher conferences this Wednesday and Thursday, and work all week! Luckily, I have another really fun weekend ahead of me. My parents and Emily and Bossy are coming for a visit. My cousin Nathan is leaving for his mission so they're coming to be able to go to his farewell and to be able to spend time me and Travis of course :) More to come about that!

Love
I really enjoyed watching General Conference this time around. For those of you who are not members of our church, it's 4 sessions in which leaders in our church, including the prophet give talks about different religious topics. One talk that really spoke out to me was given by President Eyring. He was talking about families and the ways in which family members should treat one another. What he said that really struck me was that the opposite of love is selfishness. I had never thought of this before. I had always thought of the opposite of love being hate, not selfishness but I can definitely see how this can be so. When we are so consumed in our selves we cannot see other's needs and we cannot help others and show them love. When we are selfish, we cannot love others.
Society would tell us that the most important person is ourselves and this is the only person we need to care about. When in reality we do need to take care of ourselves, yes, but we need to put others needs before our own. We need to reach out to others and forget our problems and not wallow in self pity. In that we will find true happiness and find the purpose to our lives.

Cute Baby Stuff
**Disclaimer: I am not pregnant**
Now that I've established that I'm not pregnant, let me proceed. I have a fascination with looking up cute baby stuff online. I think it's the same as picking out wedding dresses and decor before you're even engaged. It's just for fun! I already have planned out what I want my baby's nursery to look like if it's a boy or a girl. My boy nursery is jungle themed and super cute! Check this out:
I love all the cute animals! Plus, two of my favorite animals are monkeys and frogs so that's why I think I especially love this bedding!
My girl nursery is my FAVORITE!! I want to do it in a cupcake theme! There are so many cute cupcake decorations that I think would make a precious little girl's nursery. On the walls I'd put vinyl lettering that says stuff like "our little sweetheart." Check out this precious bedding that I love!

I also found this cute little girl cupcake outfit! It's precious!
Baby stuff is so fun to look at! Travis thinks I'm weird, but he just doesn't understand he's a man!
